Behance Portfolio Reviews

Rocksauce Studios takes part in a creative gathering that is held twice a year by the Behance Network. We just held our event last night and it was such a wonderful learning experience. Our CEO, Q Manning was our Keynote Presenter and he offered some insights into his design career and how he came to be the Creative Director and CEO of Rocksauce Studios. We also had several local artists showcase their work, all in all we had a great night!

If you are looking for a place to get feedback and show off what you’re working on, you have a multitude of sites to choose from DribbbleForrstLogoPond and Behance.

Rocksauce Studios has an account on each of those networks, but we really enjoy the Behance Network for reaching out to the Behance community to have a nationwide Portfolio Review Week. Thousands of creatives gather at events in cities and towns around the world. It’s an opportunity to take part in the Behance Community offline, and to be part of a collective experience of sharing and receiving feedback.

This is what we did last night, in a lounge area of a local bar The Ginger Man. We shared our work, we asked for feedback and invited everyone in our community to do the same. The result was success. The power of networking is inimitable. By the end of the night, work was shared and cards were exchanged.

As a Creative, if you aren’t already a part of the Behance Network, we invite you to join today and start sharing your portfolio.  When Portfolio Reviews come around, find your local event and attend! If you aren’t convinced, here’s an info graphic about Portfolio Review Week below.
