Brewski Me Gets a Big Update!

Whenever I tell someone that I work for an app development studio and they want to see an example of our work, I immediately fire up Brewski Me. In addition to being a gorgeously designed and intuitive mobile application, its appeal is instantly recognizable. After all, what tasteful human being wouldn’t want an app that lets them rate and track the various beers they’ve consuming while discovering what their friends are trying? As far as I’m concerned, Brewski Me is one of Rocksauce Studios‘ crown jewels. It’s a perfect app.

hAnd it’s only getting better! A few major updates have now gone live, deepening the Brewski Me experience in new and exciting ways.

In addition to the usual Brewski Me ratings, the app has now integrated ratings from the RateBeer community, letting users get two perspectives on the quality of a brew (and building a bridge between two groups of beer lovers!). As if that wasn’t social enough, an updated activity feed also encourages more interaction between users.

Here’s is the full press release:

Brewski Me integrates RateBeer and enhances their activity feed!

AppsVersusRobots and Rocksauce Studios are proud to announce the release of Version 1.7 of Brewski Me (Brewski.me), the mobile application that offers beer drinkers – both casual and connoisseur alike – a portal where they can rate and review their favorite brews and share what they’re drinking with their friends across the social network of their choice. However, it’s Brewski Me’s inclusion of RateBeer and “sneak peak” capability in their activity stream that has taken this app to a whole new level!

Executive Director, Joe Tucker, of RateBeer says that the community of ratebeerians continues to grow and expand every day. RateBeer currently has thousands of members from more than 60 countries who have rated tens of thousands of beers from around the world. The masterminds behind Brewski Me thought, “Wouldn’t it be great if we could display the RateBeer rating in the app along with the Brewski Me rating?” With this latest update, Brewski Me is the seventh to integrate RateBeer in their app, but it is the first and only Social Sharing Beer app using RateBeer scores. When asked about the RateBeer scores being integrated into the Brewski Me app, Joe Tucker commented, “That’s great news for us and Brewski Me.”

Another significant update is the inclusion of photo “sneak peeks” in the activity stream which allows the user to get a closer look at their friends activities and entices them to be more social. Now that Brewski Me users can check RateBeer ratings and view the updated activity stream, they can get back to what really matters…drinking beer! Responsibly, of course.

Brewski Me version 1.7 is currently available in the iTunes store. More information can be found at http://brewski.me and .
